Scheduling a promotion with start and end dates

You can schedule announcements in advance so they appear and disappear automatically on the dates you choose.

Setting start and end dates

• Start date — when the announcement starts appearing on your listing. Defaults to now if left unchanged.
• End date — when the announcement automatically stops showing. Required.

Example: scheduling a weekend sale

1. Create the announcement now with type "Offer"
2. Set the start date to Friday 18:00
3. Set the end date to Sunday 23:59
4. Save — the banner will appear automatically on Friday evening and disappear on Sunday night

Activating and deactivating manually

You can toggle any announcement on or off at any time using the Deactivate / Activate button on the Manage Announcements page — without deleting it. This is useful if you want to pause a promotion and restart it later.

Expired announcements

When an announcement passes its end date it stops showing automatically. It remains in your list marked as Expired so you can reuse it later by editing the dates and reactivating it.
